It’s All About The Green Backs

I can’t wait until my current contract with my cell phone provider is over and done with. I keep hearing of these sweet deals that are out there that I can’t take advantage of because I’m stuck for another 6 months or so. I hear that some cell phone providers are now charging customers for a detailed bill, that isn’t right. I’m all about saving paper and going “green” as much as possible, but I just can’t see not being able to view your bill unless you want to shell out more precious green backs.

TV Issues

The television set that I have in my bedroom is starting to have some issues. There is a wide line at the top of the picture that is fuzzy and out of focus. It is just a bit irritating, I just hope it doesn’t get any worse. The prospect of buying a new television set in unsettling in this economic crisis that we are all experiencing at this time. This definitely isn’t in the budget at this point and time.

Football

The NFL season has started. I’m not that much into watching football, but I do try and keep up with what is going on with the more popular teams, like the Steelers, the Giants and the Redskins. It makes for good conversation with many people, so I try and know enough just to keep me from being dangerous.

I’d prefer to watch a sporting event live and in person, but that isn’t something that happens very often these days, so I’m grateful for the TV coverage that is supplied by technology on my wide screen TV in the living room.

Remember that song “Hello Mudda, Hello Fadda” about the kid writing home from camp? For some reason that song popped into my head and refuses to leave it since yesterday afternoon. It isn’t a song that you hear very often, maybe I’ll look it up on YouTube. You can find just about anything there.

Dogs & Worms

I just discovered that my dog has worms. When I let her outside earlier today and she did her business in the neighbors yard, I used the plastic bag, that we dog owners are so well know for carrying and using these days, and picked up her waste like a good citizen is expected to do. When I picked it up, I noticed some pretty nasty things crawling around in there, ugh….

Looks like I’m off to Wal Mart to the pet section to buy some worm medicine. Oh goodie!

Cleaning The Fridge

Looks like I need to give my refrigerator a good cleaning. It has been a while since I’ve done that and I’m starting to notice an odor when I open the door. That’s not good. It doesn’t look too bad, but I can’t be having a smelly refrigerator now can I?

Whats your favorite Green Energy source?

Out of all the green energy sources out there what is your favorite type and why? For me I think solar energy is awesome with wind energy coming in a close second. The reason being is that every day the sun shines down way more energy in a day then the World uses up in a year and I like the feel of sun light on my skin along with a cool breeze.

But there are many different types on Green energy out there and I wanted to see which one everyone else out there likes so hit me up!

Besides using WordPress to blog with you can use WordPress to create any website with, it may take a little extra thinking when building the website but after a little bit of thinking of what to call the comments, posts and blogroll widgets you can create fabulous looking websites using WordPress. I recently saw several sites using WordPress as there publishing platform and thought why not show you so you can see for your self like I did for myself just how cool WordPress can be when its not a blog but a website.

The first is is call Nashville TN Dentist which is a review site for Dentists in Nashville Tennessee. The second is probably my favorite is Meme Tube which is a cool video site using WordPress. The third fourth fifth and so on I want hear from you so leave a non blog WordPress site that you like in the comments for all to see!

Google puts the smack down on Yahoo backlinks

Has Google put the smack down on Yahoo backlinks?

I did a link check of Yahoo today on Googles search engine by typing in this phrase link:http://www.yahoo.com and Google is only showing that Yahoo has 9,530 backlinks. I started laughing when I saw this because Yahoo used to at one point have hundreds of thousands of back links in Google. just for fun I did a link check on MSN and Google and have posted the results of there backlinks in Google.

Google Back links 319,000
MSN Back Links 122,000
Yahoo Back Links 9,530
